One Thing Photography Has Taught Me

One thing photography has taught me is to enjoy the process more. When I first started, I was focused on getting better photos, better editing and finding amazing locations. Over time I’ve realised what I enjoy most isn’t actually the photo. It’s exploring new places, watching sunrises and sunsets, getting outdoors and escaping everyday life for a bit. Looking back, I remember the trips and experiences more than I remember most of the photos. Photography has taught me that progress takes time, perfection doesn’t exist and the journey is just as important as the end result. For me now, every photo is really just the result of a documented journey.
